Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of talk therapy that works on the conscious mind. It challenges thoughts and behaviors to begin to make changes by the individual. It helps the person reevaluate, rethink, and initiate positive change. By working with the conscious mind, CBT helps change thoughts, distortions and behavior that disrupt lives.

It is a good adjunct to neurofeedback which is a process that helps the individual’s brain to begin to initiate more positive brainwave frequencies to reduce anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral and cognitive problems.

By working together, these two modalities are very effective in balancing the individual’s lifestyle, emotional balance and behavioral responses, holistically in order to bring about more positive and longer lasting improvements.
